Genie Overview
Cisco's PyATS/Genie is a framework and set of libraries released by Cisco for performing Networking Test Automation. PyATS is the core, and Genie being the SDK used to perform the necessary tasks via CLI or Python modules.
Part of what Genie provides is a parsing engine and an extensive collection (1200+) of open-source parsers, found here: https://pubhub.devnetcloud.com/media/genie-feature-browser/docs/#/parsers. These parsers include various vendors in addition to Cisco, such as Juniper and F5. However, to date, Netmiko only provides support for the Cisco-based parsers.
